The Science of Long-Lasting Protection:
Tanalith® E is a cutting-edge, water-based, high-pressure wood preservative. Its unique combination of copper and organic biocides is impregnated deep into the quality pine through a high-pressure process. This ensures that the Tanalith® E components bond firmly with the wood structure, making them incredibly difficult to remove and significantly extending its service life. Long-term protection against wood decay and insect attack is guaranteed by the advanced composition of Tanalith® E and its unique BARamine® application technology. We are so confident in its performance that we support it with a 15-year warranty*. Rest assured, our timber also meets the Treatment Specification to NSAI standards for TAMS.
Natural Evolution of Colour:
Tanalised® E treated timbers initially display a pale green hue. Upon external exposure, they will gradually weather to a beautiful, warm honey brown, and eventually settle into a natural silver-grey. For those who prefer an immediate rich colour, we offer Tanatone® colour additive, which provides an inbuilt brown shade from day one. At Woodford, we pride ourselves on a fully controlled treatment process carried out at our modern plant facilities, achieving stringent standards for I.S.435, I.S.436 & I.S.437 specifications.
